Place Neuve is considered to be Geneva's cultural epicenter. The
Rath Museum,
Conservatory of Music and Grand Theatre
are all located on this historical square in Geneva Switzerland. Place Neuve
is located near Geneva's old
town.
The Parc
des Bastions is also accessible through the park gates located on the south
side of Place Neuve. A famous statue of Henri Dufour, the Genevan
general and Swiss national hero, can be found in the centre of the square.
